Nuvimo, a sleepy little cloud, hugging a sleeping star
An evening with Nuvimo

From “one more story?” to sleep, in three taps

Nuvimo is built for the last twenty minutes of the day: one clear thing to do, glanceable in a dim room, and a gentle ending.

  1. Tonight

    Pick tonight's idea

Nuvimo suggests a story around what your child loves — or tell it your own idea in a sentence. Choose a style, a length, and who comes along.

  2. Story ready

    The star wakes up

Moments later, Nuvimo has written and illustrated a story that never existed before, pitched to your child's stage — with your child in it, if you like.

  3. Listen

    Read together, or press play

Read it aloud yourself, or let Luna, Theo or your own recorded voice tell it. Early readers can follow along as each sentence lights up.

  4. Goodnight

A new star in their sky

When the story ends, it becomes one more star in your child's own night sky — a quiet record of every adventure you've shared.

Grows with your child

One idea, told for three different kids

Nuvimo tunes words, sentence length, scenes and suspense to six developmental stages, from first lullabies to real adventures. Slide through the ages and watch one premise grow up.

For a 3-year-old

Pip's Way Home

Little Pip saw a butterfly dance. It fluttered high, it fluttered low. Pip ran and ran and ran! He chased it past the trees and flowers. But now the butterfly was gone. Pip looked around. Where was his cozy house?

Paws, Maps, and a Long Way Back

On a breezy Tuesday morning, when the garden smelled of damp earth and honeysuckle, a fluffy golden puppy named Dash discovered something wonderful — a gap in the fence, just wide enough for one determined nose and four scrambling paws. He squeezed through, tumbled onto the pavement, and sat up blinking at an enormous, roaring street that stretched in every direction like a giant grey ribbon.

Paws Across the Wildwood

The thunderclap hit like a giant's fist slamming a table, and in the half-second of white lightning that followed, Cinder saw the garden gate swing open on its rusty hinge. She didn't mean to bolt — her paws simply decided before her brain could argue. One moment she was trembling on the back step, and the next she stood on the ink-dark edge of Ridgewood Forest, the gate already swinging shut behind her with a hollow clang. The forest pressed close, smelling of wet soil and something sharp and alive that she had no name for.

  4. 7–8 Early readers Several scenes, real stakes, and dialogue that carries the story.
  5. 9–10 Confident readers Inner life, subplots and worlds worth exploring.
  6. 11–12 Pre-teens Flawed heroes, growth, nuance and subtext.

Seven ways to tell it

Your child, the hero

Described once. Never photographed.

Pick your child's hair, eyes, skin tone and glasses from drawn options, and Nuvimo paints them into the story's art. Then build a cast of friends who come back night after night — an owl who collects lost words, a dragon who sneezes sparkles, a tortoise who captains a walnut shell.

  • A look editor with drawn options, not a camera
  • Up to 20 recurring characters, each with a portrait
  • Every character keeps a log of its adventures

Starring roles and recurring characters are part of Premium.

Stories that continue

Tonight: chapter four

Turn a favourite into a series. Nuvimo remembers the characters, places and unsolved mysteries, so every chapter picks up where the last one ended — right through to a proper finale. Your library keeps the chapters together, like a book on a shelf.

  • Remembers characters, places and open mysteries
  • Every chapter picks up where the last one ended
  • Builds to a proper finale
Help for big moments

First swim lesson tomorrow?

Describe what's coming up in one sentence — a new baby, the dentist, a first day somewhere new — and Nuvimo writes a calm, gentle story that helps your child feel ready.

  • Always private Moments stories live only in your own library.
  • Calm by design A slow bedtime style and a reassuring ending, every time.
  • Checked first If a situation needs a person rather than a story, Nuvimo says so and writes nothing.

Nuvimo doesn't save your sentence in your profile or story.

Made for the ritual

A player that knows it's bedtime

Every story is narrated by two natural voices, Luna and Theo. Slow it down for toddlers, speed it up for confident listeners, and set a sleep timer for the last story of the night.

Listening is part of the Premium plan.

  • Bedtime in your voice

Record a short reading and Nuvimo narrates stories as you — bedtime with Mum or Dad, even on nights you're away. Up to two family voices.

  • Words that light up

Read-along highlights each sentence as it's spoken, so children learning to read can follow the voice.

  • Speed and sleep timer

From a soothing 0.75× to 1.5×, remembered for each child, plus a sleep timer for drifting off.

Curiosity you can see

Every story lights a star

Over 90 topics, from dinosaurs to friendship. Each finished story adds one star to your child's own night sky, and the stars gather into constellations of what they love — a picture of curiosity, never a report card.

  • One story, one star — nothing to grind
  • A question to ask after each story
  • A gentle weekly or monthly recap, if you want one
For the whole family

One app, everyone's bedtime

  • A profile for each child

Their own age, library, sky and look — switch with one tap.

  • Share with grandparents

Send a story as a link. It opens in Nuvimo or in any browser.

  • Four languages

Stories in English, German, Spanish and French.

  • A real bookshelf

Series stacked together, collections, search, and favourites to read again.

Questions

What parents ask before pressing play

How does Nuvimo make a story?

You add a profile for each child with their name, age and a few interests. When you pick an idea — Nuvimo's or your own — it writes a brand-new story at your child's stage, paints a cover illustration, and prepares narration. Every story is created on demand, so no two are the same.

Who is Nuvimo?

Nuvimo is the little cloud who tells the stories. It drifts in at bedtime carrying tonight's story — a sleepy star — and it remembers every adventure. Nuvimo never tests or corrects your child; it just tells stories.

What ages is Nuvimo for?

Ages 0 to 12, across six developmental stages: 0–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8, 9–10 and 11–12. Vocabulary, sentence length, number of scenes, suspense and emotional depth are tuned to each stage, so a story for a three-year-old reads completely differently from one for a ten-year-old.

Do I need to upload a photo of my child?

No — and you can't. Children star in their stories through a look editor with drawn options for hair, eyes, skin tone and glasses. Nuvimo never asks for or stores photos of your child.

Is Nuvimo safe for my child?

Nuvimo is a closed, ad-free experience: no open chat, no ads, and no purchases aimed at children. Stories are shaped by safety rules for each age stage before a word is written, and illustrations pass an image safety check. Parents create and configure; children read and listen.

What are Moments stories?

For the big things in a child's life — a first swim lesson, a new sibling, a visit to the dentist. Describe the situation in a sentence and Nuvimo writes a calm, reassuring story about it. Moments stories are always private. If a situation sounds like it needs a person rather than a story, Nuvimo won't write one and says so. Nuvimo doesn't save your sentence in your profile or story; it's sent securely to our AI provider to create the story.

Can stories really be read in my voice?

Yes, on Premium. Record a short reading in the app and Nuvimo can narrate stories in your voice. You can create up to two family voices and choose which one reads to each child by default. Voice recordings can be deleted at any time.

Does every plan include audio?

Listening is part of the Premium plan. Premium families can listen with Luna or Theo or a family voice, follow along with read-along highlighting, adjust the speed from 0.75× to 1.5× and use a sleep timer. On every plan you can read the stories aloud yourself.

Can several children use one account?

Yes. Every plan covers separate profiles for each child, each with their own age stage, library, look and Story Sky.

Which languages are supported?

Stories can be created in English, German, Spanish and French. German is written natively, not translated from English — a gentle way to bring a second language into bedtime.

Can we use Nuvimo offline?

Stories your child has already opened — text, illustrations and downloaded narration — replay without a connection, so favourites keep working on a flight. Creating a new story needs the internet.

What does Nuvimo cost?

Your first two stories are free. After that there are three plans: Basic with 30 illustrated stories a month, Pro with 60 plus Super Stories and private stories, and Premium, which adds listening, family voices, recurring characters and your child as the hero. Prices are shown in the app.

What happens to our family's data?

Data is stored in the EU. We don't sell data, show ads, or train AI models on your family's stories. You can delete profiles, stories and voice recordings at any time, or delete your whole account. The Privacy Policy has the details.
